Fatima Khan

Fatima Khan is a senior correspondent at The Quint and was earlier with The Print. She covers national politics, hate crimes and gender. In a flagship reporting series called Everyday Communalism, she files ground reports that illustrate a new trend of hate in India – large-scale riots replaced by low intensity but sustained and constant acts of communal violence. Prior to this, she extensively covered the 2020 Delhi riots and the 2019 anti-CAA protests and the violence that followed in Uttar Pradesh. She is a recipient of the UNFPA Laadli Award for excellence in gender reporting for her coverage of the 2019 Unnao rape and murder, and was a finalist in the HRRF Young Journalist of the Year Award.
